Job summary

Bechtel Global Corporation in Houston, TX is seeking an experienced Subcontract Manager to lead formation and administration of complex EPC subcontract packages. You will oversee bid packages, negotiations, and contractor relationships to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

A strong background in contract law, procurement, and risk mitigation, plus excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration, is required to navigate the project lifecycle and deliver compliant, high-quality

Qualifications

Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8-10 years of relevant experience.
Strong knowledge of contract law, procurement regulations, and best practices in contract administration.
Excellent negotiation, analytical, and verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in administration of EPC contracts is a plus.

Responsibilities

Lead preparation and review of bid request packages and develop project contracts operating procedures.
Continual progress review, forecasting, and communication of difficulties to ensure subcontract compliance.
Negotiate contract changes with customer personnel and obtain settlements.
Prepare and organize subcontract documents and meetings for clarity and alignment.
