Job summary

Aquatech International is seeking a full-time Senior Subcontracts Coordinator in Houston, TX, to manage subcontractor relationships and procurement for water treatment equipment. The role operates Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 5:00 p.m., and requires strong negotiation, vendor management, and SAP experience. Ideal candidates will have a background in procurement of technical commodities, international purchasing experience, and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or Engineering.
Seven or more years experience in purchasing (procurement) of technical commodities.
Three or more years experience with international purchasing.
Three or more years experience with SAP (preferred).

Responsibilities

Finalize orders with Subcontractors and manage them through project completion, including terms, rates, spare parts, and invoices.
Purchase all commodities and technical equipment for water and wastewater treatments.
Review purchase requisition packages and ensure accuracy.
Prepare bid requests and review proposals within budget and scope of authority.
Confer with vendors to obtain product information, price, availability, and delivery schedules.
Prepare and issue purchase orders and track status with vendors.
Maintain vendor communications and resolve discrepancies in quantity and quality.
Interface with all departments to resolve issues with purchased items.
Enter data for all purchase orders and maintain procurement records.
Compile reports and copies of data as needed.
Operate computer terminals to input and retrieve data.
Travel to meet project requirements when necessary.
