Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Subcontracts Administrator Principal to lead the full lifecycle of high-value federal subcontracts, including planning, negotiation, and closeout.

You will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure compliant procurement and optimal performance for critical government programs. The role requires 8+ years in subcontracts or related fields, deep FAR/DEAR knowledge, and proficiency with enterprise procurement systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in subcontracts, contracts, procurement, supply chain, or a related discipline.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex federal subcontracts and interpreting prime-contract requirements.
• Proficiency with enterprise procurement systems and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).

Responsibilities

• Lead the full subcontract lifecycle for complex and high-value actions including planning, solicitation, source selection, cost/price analysis, negotiation, award, administration, modification and closeout.
• Collaborate with program management, contracts, finance, pricing, legal, supply chain, security, and technical teams to develop acquisition strategies and address performance issues.
• Drive timely, compliant, cost-effective subcontract outcomes by managing cost, schedule, performance, and contractual risk; ensure terms are flowed down and monitor performance.
