Job summary

Lockheed Martin Corporation is seeking a Subcontracts Manager in the United States to oversee supplier cost, schedule, and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk contracts for defense programs. You will lead cross-functional teams, develop subcontract specifications, and negotiate terms.

The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD SECRET clearance, along with strong negotiation and procurement skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• 3+ years of professional experience.
• Experience leading negotiations with suppliers to ensure cost and schedule objectives are captured in contractual commitments.
• Experience with the procurement and management of specialized materials, complex assemblies, and equipment.
• Knowledge of standard acquisition policies and procedures.
• US Citizen and able to OBTAIN and maintain a US DoD SECRET clearance to support this government contract, and pass drug and background checks.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier cost, schedule and technical performance on moderate-to-high-risk, modified COTS, performance specification and complex build-to-print subcontracts.
• Lead multifunctional subcontract management teams and sign supplier agreements and purchase orders within established authority.
• Develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms and conditions for procurement of specialized materials, equipment, and services.
• Prepare bid packages, conduct bidders' conferences, evaluate proposals, and negotiate subcontract provisions including price.
• Write subcontract packages, prepare awards and administer subcontracts and required change activity.
