Job summary

Zachry Group in North Carolina is seeking a Subcontract Administrator II to lead the development, negotiation and administration of subcontracts and service packages on complex construction projects.

The role requires at least 3 years in subcontract administration, a BA/BS or equivalent, and experience managing contracts with budgets over $50M; familiarity with Primavera and Oracle is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university preferred or formal OJT or Apprentice Program.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in Subcontract Administration.
• Budget responsibilities of over $50M.
• Experience with Subcontractors and/or direct craft on construction projects.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Leads development, preparation, and award of subcontract/service bids for assigned subcontracts.
• Leads project meetings to ensure schedule, priorities and expectations are met.
• Monitors contractor progress and performance per the agreement.
• Administers contracts including change orders, back charges, submittals, and progress payments.
• Oversees onboarding activities for subcontractors at the project site.
• Conducts daily site visits to observe progress and quality of work.
• Leads subcontract turnover and closeout.
