Zachry Group in Texas is seeking a Procurement Specialist II to manage medium to high criticality sourcing from RFP through award and contract administration. The role emphasizes expert procurement processes, supplier relationships, and coordination with PMT across projects.

The candidate will mentor peers, develop negotiating strategies, oversee complex procurement events, and support estimating in Deal Development while maintaining strong compliance with Zachry SOPs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years of related procurement experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with document templates and workflows preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed.

Responsabilités

• Lead in procurement project management teams to support contract compliance.
• Develop sourcing strategies and issue RFPs for medium to high criticality items.
• Negotiate awards, perform supplier evaluations, and prepare source recommendations.
• Mentor and supervise junior procurement staff; maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Support estimating efforts in Deal Development and procurement execution throughout projects.
