Job summary

Skydio, Inc. is seeking a Senior Curriculum Developer to architect the future of sUAS training for critical industry. You will perform job and task analyses, define performance-based learning objectives, design assessments, and map content across classroom, self-paced, simulation, and immersive modalities.

You will work with instructors, software engineers, and subject matter experts to shape Skydio's pilot and technician training ecosystem and ensure learning outcomes meet operational needs.

Qualifications

• 7+ years designing curriculum for educational or technical training programs.
• Experience with task analysis, objective writing, assessment design, and evaluation.
• Experience building curriculum for complex technical products.
• Strong understanding of adult learning principles and performance-based training.

Responsibilities

• Conduct job and task analyses to define learning objectives.
• Define performance-based learning objectives and create course maps.
• Design assessments, practical evaluations, and certification standards.
• Sequence content across classroom, self-paced, simulation, and immersive modalities.
• Collaborate with instructors, engineers, and SMEs to align media with objectives.
• Develop facilitator guides, lesson plans, and trainer materials.
• Expand use of simulation-based and AR/VR learning experiences.
