Job summary

NC State University in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Study Director – Protocol Development and Study Coordination to lead IR-4 residue studies and manage data packages for regulatory submissions.

The position requires a Master of Science (with 8+ years in weed science) or a PhD (with 3+ years), GLP expertise, and strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills. Travel 6–10 times per year is expected.

Qualifications

• Master of Science degree with at least 8 years of full-time experience in weed science in field and greenhouse settings, or PhD with at least 3 years of full-time experience in applied weed science research.

Responsibilities

• Lead protocol development and study coordination for IR-4 residue studies.
• Develop data packages in accordance with EPA OPPTS and FAO/JMPR guidelines.
• Represent IR-4 in meetings and coordinate with registrant companies and laboratories.
