Job summary

Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) in Irvine seeks a studio engineer to bridge design and engineering for innovative vehicle concepts. You will design body structures, packaging, and concept proposals for feasible production programs.

You will collaborate with Korean and US teams, translate requirements into 3D guides, and ensure alignment with brand identity, feasibility, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering required.
• 5+ years of automotive engineering experience, studio experience preferred.
• Deep understanding of vehicle architecture, engineering feasibility, and production constraints.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Korean.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer body structures and advanced packaging for concept programs.
• Create compelling technical concept proposals to drive design solutions.
• Translate engineering requirements into 3D design guides aligned with feasibility, cost, and regulation.
