Hyundai America Technical Center, Inc. (HATCI) is seeking a Senior Engineer to advance exterior trim design for production vehicles. You will work with HMMA and suppliers to drive manufacturability, quality, and cost improvements while supporting new vehicle launches.

The role requires CATIA V5 proficiency, strong communication, and collaboration skills as you optimize design concepts and update BOMs for production readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Foundational knowledge of automotive design and manufacturing processes.
• Experience with design validation and supplier interaction preferred.

Responsabilités

• Develop and optimize exterior trim design concepts for production vehicles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to ensure manufacturability.
• Review 2D drawings and 3D geometry for design accuracy and feasibility.
• Support vehicle launches with technical design documentation and changes.
• Use CATIA V5 and MS Office to document and present improvements.
• Monitor design changes through BOM updates and approvals.
