Job summary

The University of North Texas System seeks a Senior Student & Program Coordinator to manage daily operations of the College of Education program, coordinate communications, publications, and recruit/mentor students. You will supervise administrative tasks, assist with travel, planning, and program materials, and support the mission of UNT-Provost.

Bachelor’s degree and two years of experience are required. This on-site role in Denton offers the opportunity to contribute to educator preparation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of student services or related experience.
• Equivalent education or training considered.

Responsibilities

• Respond to information requests from prospective students and follow up with them about transfer courses, degree requirements, and certification requirements.
• Develop degree and certification plans with students and ensure awareness of timelines for masters and principal certification.
• Maintain databases and files for students progressing through the programs.
• Facilitate student admissions processes, coordinating with the Graduate School and assisting with application materials; organize admission materials.
• Implement the principal Internship, coordinating with school districts and internship supervisors.
• Communicate regularly with students about degree and program requirements; update the Educational Leadership Handbook.
• Support the Graduate Academic Certificate (GAC) in Principal Preparation, including applicant communications.
• Assist with COE website maintenance and recruitment efforts.
