Job summary

The Boeing Company in Missouri seeks an experienced or senior Structures Test & Evaluation Instrumentation Engineer to support lab tests with instrumentation and data acquisition hardware and software. You will work on military and legacy aircraft programs, focusing on test control and measurement readiness.

The role requires collaboration with cross‑functional teams, strong communication, and leadership abilities. 1st shift with occasional overtime may be required; relocation is possible.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or related field.
• 3+ years in PID control theory, control software, and/or data acquisition software or equipment.
• 3+ years in lab/test environments (lab, flight test, or similar).
• 1+ years with sensors/instrumentation (strain gages, temp/pressure, accelerometers, transducers).
• 3+ years designing, operating, troubleshooting instrumentation for aircraft programs.

Responsibilities

• Operate test control and data acquisition systems during structural and mechanical tests.
• Design test hardware, software and systems to meet test requirements.
• Architect and document instrumentation and test control systems under senior guidance.
• Generate electrical schematics using Visio or similar tools.
• Coordinate control system design, fabrication, integration, setup and teardown.
