Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years related experience or equivalent
• AMC Part 145 and Part 135 maintenance requirements knowledge
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient with electronic or paper manuals and navigating vendor data
• Strong maintenance discipline knowledge and application
• Ability to work independently or in a team
• Capable of managing several projects concurrently and solving diverse problems
• Savvy in AMC Safety Management System understanding
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite and RAMCO
• FAA A&P certification preferred or eligible for FAA repairman certificate
• Regular attendance and willingness to undergo DOT/FAA drug testing

Responsibilities

• Perform core duties of technician requirements at an exceptional level
• Coordinate with AMC Maintenance Support and Planning to support field maintenance
• Communicate specialized shop needs to Engineering
• Report constraints and progress to Maintenance Leads and Supervisors
• Mentor new employees on shop procedures to boost efficiency
• Monitor and control material usage in the shop
• Act as SME for the maintenance discipline
• Provide training and mentoring to shop personnel
• Perform other duties as assigned
