Job summary

S&B USA Construction seeks a Superintenden t for MD/DC/Northern Virginia to direct all field construction activities and personnel. The role focuses on meeting budget, schedule and safety objectives while coordinating with the Project Manager and owner on project milestones and issues.

Ideal candidates have five years in demolition/heavy civil projects at superintendent level, strong leadership, and proficient scheduling, cost control, and safety program knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years’ experience on demolition, heavy civil and/or heavy highway projects in a superintendent role.
• Experience with crane and hoisting equipment is required.
• Strong reading of construction documents and schedules.
• Ability to manage and lead a mid- to large-sized crew.

Responsibilities

• Direct all field construction activities and personnel to meet budget, schedule and safety goals.
• Plan, sequence, and supervise construction methods and resources.
• Train and manage foremen and field staff.
• Maintain project schedule and monitor critical milestones.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and owner to address issues.
