L3Harris Technologies in Canoga Park, CA is seeking a Senior Specialist, Structures Engineer to support the RS-25 rocket engine program, performing component structural analysis for flight, test and fabrication.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Structures, or Aerospace Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent). Strong skills in ANSYS are preferred, and eligibility for US security clearance is noted.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structures, or Aerospace Engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience.
• Graduate degree in Mechanical, Structures, or Aerospace Engineering with 4+ years of related experience.
• In lieu of a degree, 10+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide structural design guidance and perform detailed structural analyses for RS-25 component NCRs.
• Report status and results at design and program reviews; prepare technical reports.
• Apply technical expertise to contribute to NCR dispositioning and improve program performance.
• Obtain US security clearance for the role.
