Job summary

Lanteris Space Systems is seeking a Sr. Structures Design Engineer to join our engineering team in Mountain View, CA.

You will lead the design and development of spacecraft structures and secondary supports, generating drawings and models using Creo, and supporting build and integration activities. As a senior engineer you will coordinate with a small team, own program schedules, review interfaces, test plans, and engineering change processes.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 5 years of experience with piece part and subassembly modeling in CREO or other CAD software and assembly drawing generation.

Responsibilities

• Create product specifications, negotiate design details, interfaces, test plans and manufacturing/test processes.
• Assist in oversight for integration of subcontracted hardware into spacecraft systems.
• Generate engineering drawings and models with Creo and other design tools.
• Disposition nonconformances and drive process improvements.
