Job summary

KKR in New York seeks a senior investment professional to manage all facets of the structured and asset-backed credit process. You will evaluate opportunities, build strategies, track markets, and guide portfolio construction across multiple asset classes.

You will collaborate with GA and KKR teams, lead investment memos, and drive deal execution while monitoring portfolio risk and opportunities. A discretionary bonus may be available based on performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• 6+ years of experience in investment banking, insurance or investment/asset management.
• Strong analytical, written and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Proven track record of developing and executing investment strategies or interest in investing.
• Experience leading and negotiating transactions.
• Self-starter with ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of insurance company-specific investment and accounting considerations a plus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate individual investment opportunities across a wide range of sectors and geographies.
• Prepare and present GA & KKR investment memos outlining key findings and recommendations.
• Collaborate across GA and KKR teams to facilitate investment decision-making and deal execution processes.
• Regularly monitor structured products markets (RMBS, CMBS, ABS, CLO) and track themes / economics / relative value across asset classes.
• Cultivate relationships across GA and KKR to communicate priorities, market views, and progress.
• Design GA’s capital deployment strategy and run portfolio construction analytics.
• Monitor the portfolio to identify risks and opportunities, and work with KKR to manage positions.
