Job summary
Nassau Financial Group, based in Hartford, Connecticut, seeks a Senior Analyst to analyze structured investments, particularly CLOs, and provide buy/sell recommendations. You will support portfolio surveillance and management of existing assets, coordinating with legal and risk teams to ensure compliance and performance.
The role requires experience in structured securities, strong communication skills, and a finance-related degree; CFA is a plus.
Qualifications
- Experience with CLOs, private credit and ABS.
- Bachelor or Master in finance/economics/business preferred.
- CFA designation a plus; strong written and verbal communication.
Responsibilities
- Support sourcing and underwriting of new investments in structured securities.
- Monitor existing holdings to detect credit quality changes and minimize losses.
- Collaborate with Portfolio Management to ensure commitments meet guidelines.
- Assist in management of troubledAssets and recommend sales to reduce losses.
- Assist in presenting transactions to Investment Review Committee.
- Support hedging activities as needed.
- Coordinate with legal teams to document commitments and maintenance documents.
- Meet internal and external reporting requirements.
- Develop and maintain 3rd party SMA relationships and facilitate new mandates.
