Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Technician III to support the installation and buildout of low-voltage infrastructure in a large-scale manufacturing environment. The role focuses on new structured cabling installations supporting facility expansion and upgrades, including copper and fiber cabling in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with structured cabling installations.
• Experience with copper cable pulling, routing, termination, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with fiber-optic cabling pulling and routing.
• Ability to read blueprints, floor plans, and cabling documentation.

Responsibilities

• Pull, route, dress, label, terminate, test, and troubleshoot low-voltage copper cabling.
• Pull, route, and safely handle fiber-optic cabling.
• Install and organize cabling within cable pathways (trays, J-hooks, ladder racks, conduits, overhead pathways).
• Support patch panel installations, rack buildouts, IDF/MDF environments, and related infrastructure.
• Perform cable testing and validation with industry-standard equipment.
• Read and interpret blueprints and cabling documentation.
• Maintain clean, organized, and properly labeled installations.
• Work from lifts and elevated platforms at heights up to 25 feet.
• Follow safety, PPE, and quality standards.
