Hunt Electric, Inc. is seeking a full-time Structured Cabling Technology Technician II to join our Technology and Data Comm Division as a senior-level technician with experience across diverse systems and construction techniques.

The role reports to the Project Foreman and may lead crews to deliver projects on time and within budget while prioritizing safety and quality. Key duties include coordinating activities, reading project specs and drawings, mentoring team members, and executing site

Qualifications

• 3 Years in Structured Cabling Industry.
• Experience running crews.
• Hold safety in high regard.
• Expect high level quality craftsmanship.
• Experience delivering large complex projects.
• Fiber installation / termination / splicing experience.
• Copper feed Pair termination experience.
• Workstation termination and Comm room buildout experience.
• Familiar with Fluke test equipment for both fiber and copper.
• Have a valid driver's license.
• Microsoft 360 experience is a plus.
• Blue Beam experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activity sequencing to keep projects on schedule.
• Understand project specifications and read construction drawings.
• Demonstrate leadership and teamwork on site.
• Execute site commissioning and turnup as directed by leadership.
• Mentor team members and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Maintain safety, quality, and craftsmanship to meet company goals.
