Job summary

Crete United is looking for an experienced Telecommunications Installer in Montgomery, Alabama. Your responsibilities will include installing UTP, fiber optic, and multi-conductor cabling infrastructure, conducting site surveys, and managing an installation team. Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in low-voltage telecommunications and may benefit from BICSI credentials. Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience in low-voltage / telecommunications.
• Experience with LAN, inter-building backbone, security, and audio/video cabling required.
• BICSI credentials are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Install cabling infrastructure including UTP, fiber optic, and copper.
• Test and certify permanent links with industry-standard equipment.
• Complete documentation and quality assurance reports.

Skills

Low-voltage telecommunications experience

LAN and audio/video cabling

Proficiency in certification tools and test equipment

Basic computer skills

Ability to read and understand industry color codes
