Job summary

Tutor Perini Corporation seeks a Structural Superintendent to lead on the Honolulu Authority for Rapid Transportation (HART) project in Honolulu, HI. You will supervise elevated guideway construction, manage scheduling, budgets, and safety compliance, and coordinate with subcontractors and Owner staff to keep the project on track.

The ideal candidate has 15+ years in heavy civil construction, 10+ years as a superintendent on large projects (> $500M), and strong knowledge of US construction

Qualifications

• 15+ years of construction experience.
• 10+ years’ experience as a superintendent on heavy civil projects.
• Experience as a superintendent on projects valued over $500M.
• Knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
• Experience with City, State, and/or Federal Government Clients preferred.
• Knowledge of contract management and familiarity with local trade/unions/craft.
• OSHA 500 certification, CPR & First Aid certifications.
• Excellent written and verbal skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction on elevated guideway structures, ensuring safety, design compliance, budget and schedule.
• Plan, coordinate and supervise on-site functions (scheduling, subcontractor coordination, etc.).
• Ensure compliance of craft workers and subcontractors with contract requirements; efficient use of materials & equipment; site safety plan; timely performance of the project schedule.
• Provide technical assistance (interpret drawings, recommend methods/equipment).
• Assist project management in developing project schedule, site logistics, procedures and standards; support Site Specific Safety Plan; coordinate with Owner representatives.
