MK Consulting Group is seeking a Structural Steel Project Manager in Montgomery, AL to oversee planning, execution, and completion of structural steel projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and teams to ensure timely, on-budget delivery to spec.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, and deep knowledge of fabrication and erection practices. You will coordinate with clients, engineers, fabricators, and subcontractors to drive project success and safe, compliant execution.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project management for structural steel construction.
• Strong knowledge of structural steel fabrication, erection, and construction practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex problems; proactive planning.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Lead project teams including engineers, fabricators, erectors, and subcontractors.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
• Control costs by tracking materials, labor, and equipment; manage change orders.
• Ensure quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders.
• Oversee subcontractor selection and coordination, including contracts.
• Maintain accurate shop and field documentation and oversee closeout.
