Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant experience in project management, particularly in structural steel construction.
• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication, erection, and construction practices.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
• Ability to lead and motivate project teams.
• Ability to manage project budgets and track costs.
• Familiarity with MS Project and related software applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
• Manage project teams including engineers, fabricators, erectors, and subcontractors.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, general contractors, and stakeholders.
• Ensure materials, labor, and equipment costs are included in estimates.
• Monitor changes in scope, cost, and schedule and manage change orders.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Communicate project status and issues to stakeholders.
• Select and manage subcontractors and coordinate their activities.
• Maintain project documentation including shop and field drawings.
• Oversee closeout: inspections, punch lists, final payments.
