Job summary

Acuren is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Welding and Bolting Inspector to support our St. Louis Park, MN office, conducting inspections in fabrication shops and on construction sites to ensure conformance with applicable codes and project specifications.

The role requires independent work, NDT proficiency, and the ability to interpret radiographs and other indicators. Strong reporting skills and adherence to safety regulations are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have ICC Specialist Inspector Certification for Structural Steel, Welding and Bolting.
• Must have a current AWS/CWI certification.
• Must have 5 years of relevant experience in NDT methods and procedures.
• Certified Level II with proof of NDT training in MT, PT, UT per ASNT-1A.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
• Conduct tests to detect discontinuities using NDT methods.
• Interpret radiographs and readouts; organize and report results.
