Osborn Engineering is seeking a Senior Structural Restoration Engineer with 15+ years of experience to join our team in the Pittsburgh office. The role collaborates with directors, managers and staff to meet client needs and drive timely project delivery.

The candidate will design for a variety of projects, prepare drawings and specs, and manage multiple projects concurrently while maintaining strong communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• PE/SE is preferred.
• 15+ years of structural design experience.
• Structural analysis software experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Experience designing multiple types of buildings, both architectural and industrial.
• Ability to work on several projects concurrently.
• Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Strong work ethic.
• Industry knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Design of public and private development projects.
• Preparation of drawings & specifications.
• Conduct assessments and reports.
• Preparation of construction documents, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
• Opportunity to actively work on concrete, steel, wood and light-gage designs.
• Interaction with in-house architectural and MEP project team members.
• Interact directly with facility owners.
• Attend meetings with clients, authorities having jurisdiction, and other professionals.
• Project management.
• Review designs prepared by others as part of the QA/QC process.
