Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of structural engineering experience, focusing on steel structures.
• Proficiency in CAD software and structural analysis tools (AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD, SAP2000).
• Strong knowledge of building codes and industry standards.
• Excellent problem solving, communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural steel components and systems for various construction projects.
• Develop detailed plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software.
• Perform structural calculations to ensure safety and stability of steel structures.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and project managers to ensure design feasibility and timelines.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure compliance with design specifications and safety standards.
• Prepare and review technical reports, project documentation, and construction schedules.
• Stay current with industry trends, technologies, and best practices in structural engineering.
