Job summary

LVI Associates is seeking a Structural Project Engineer (Licensed PE) in Denver, CO to design and manage a diverse portfolio of commercial projects nationwide. The ideal candidate holds a Colorado PE, demonstrates mature engineering judgment, and has 5+ years of structural design experience leading project components.

Responsibilities include performing calculations, supervising the design team and CAD staff, reviewing submittals and RFIs, and conducting site visits.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Colorado
• Minimum 5 years of structural engineering experience
• Ability to independently execute project assignments including structural analysis and design
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare structural engineering calculations, project documents, and technical reports.
• Assist in supervision, mentorship, and coordination of design engineers and CAD staff.
• Provide construction administration including reviewing submittals, RFIs, and site visits.
• Make independent engineering decisions using mature professional judgment.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory agencies.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of design standards and best practices.
