Job summary

Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our Buildings group in Conshohocken or Philadelphia, PA. You will lead design efforts on low to mid-rise projects, applying structural principles and coordinating with architects and other disciplines.

Ideal candidates have a Civil Engineering degree with a structural emphasis, 6+ years of experience, and a PE license. Proficiency with Revit and structural software is expected, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil engineering degree with a structural emphasis is required; Master’s degree preferred.
• PE license is required.
• Minimum of 6 years of related structural engineering experience.
• Experience on Commercial, Science & Technology, Educational, and Municipal projects is preferred.
• Proficiency in Revit and structural software; willingness to advance.

Responsibilities

• Independently apply structural principles in various assignments.
• Prepare engineering calculations using software, spreadsheets, and hand methods.
• Create structural design plans and details in Revit.
• Coordinate with architects, owners, and other disciplines.
• Design and review project documents for conformity and quality assurance.
• Analyze data and solve problems; provide direction to staff.
• Review shop drawings and respond to RFIs.
• Perform field investigations/site visits as needed.
