Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Structural Project Engineer in Seattle, WA. The role is hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote) with responsibilities spanning schematic design to construction administration for mid-scale commercial/institutional projects.

You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with architecture, MEP, and BIM teams to deliver integrated solutions. Required is a Civil/Structural Engineering degree and 8+ years in building design, along with proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 8 years of experience in building structural design.
• Experience delivering mid-scale projects ($20M-$40M or greater).
• Ability to independently manage projects from schematic design through CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural design from SD through CA for mid-scale buildings.
• Own structural scope ensuring technical accuracy, schedule, and budget.
• Design structural systems using steel, concrete, masonry, and mass timber.
• Mentor 2-3 engineers and provide technical guidance.
