Job summary

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of structural engineering experience.

  • Strong knowledge of steel, concrete, wood, masonry, and foundation design.
  • Familiarity with applicable building codes and structural design standards.

  • Lead structural engineering projects from proposal through construction completion.

Project Management
  • Lead structural engineering projects from proposal through construction completion.
  • Develop project schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and resource allocations.
  • Monitor project financial performance, scope, and profitability.
  • Coordinate with clients, architects, contractors, and consultants throughout all project phases.
  • Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.
Structural Engineering & Design
  • Perform and oversee structural analysis and design for a variety of building types.
  • Review calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports.
  • Provide technical guidance and quality control throughout project development.
  • Evaluate existing structures and develop retrofit or renovation solutions when required.
  • Support construction administration activities, including RFIs, submittal reviews, and site observations.
Client Development & Relationship Management
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to existing clients and project partners.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with architects, developers, owners, and contractors.
  • Participate in business development efforts, networking activities, and industry events.
  • Identify opportunities for repeat work and expanded services.
  • Assist with proposals, project pursuits, and client presentations.
Team Leadership
  • Mentor and develop junior engineers, designers, and project engineers.
  • Delegate work effectively while maintaining accountability for project deliverables.
  • Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary project teams.
  • Support recruiting, onboarding, and professional development initiatives.
