GFT in Miami is seeking a Sr. Structural Project Engineer to join our Buildings and Places Structural Team. This hybrid role requires office attendance and offers opportunities to lead complex projects in buildings, transit stations, and airports.

You will perform design, analysis, and documentation, mentor junior staff, and contribute to advanced modelling and detailing using BIM and industry software. Competitive salary and benefits offered.

Formación

• This position requires a strong background in structural engineering design.
• 10+ years of experience on buildings, transit, or related projects.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software and building codes.

Responsabilidades

• Perform and check structural design and analysis computations.
• Prepare construction plans for a wide variety of building structures.
• Develop contract documents: plans, details and specifications.
• Perform structural calculations per Building Code and amendments.
• Review construction documents and shop drawings.
• Provide site observations for existing and new structures.
• Prepare reports and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
• Conduct finite element modelling and ensure code compliance.
