GFT is seeking a Sr. Structural Project Engineer to join our Buildings and Places Structural Team in Miami. The role follows a hybrid model with regular office attendance, working on diverse projects including buildings, transit stations, and airports.

You will perform design calculations, develop contract documents, review on-site observations, and guide junior engineers. You will bring a B.S. in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, a PE, and 10+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of structural design experience on buildings, transit related projects
• PE license is required
• Experience with REVIT and structural analysis software

Responsabilités

• Perform and check structural design and analysis computations.
• Prepare construction plans for a wide variety of building/vertical structures.
• Develop contract documents such as plans, details and specifications.
• Perform structural calculations in accordance with applicable codes.
• Review shop drawings or contractor requests.
• Perform structural observations on site for existing and new structures.
• Prepare reports with clear and succinct writing.
• Provide technical guidance to entry level engineers.
• Perform finite element modelling.
• Detail-oriented with strong steel and concrete design skills.
• Demonstrate broad knowledge of structural analysis and design principles.
