Job summary

Epstein Architecture, Engineering and Construction in Chicago, IL, seeks a Structural Project Engineer with a hybrid work schedule to lead structural teams on complex projects. You will oversee BIM models, perform calculations and analyses, and assist in producing plans and specifications for diverse client portfolios.

The ideal candidate has 6–10 years of consulting experience, Revit Structure proficiency, and a PE license; SE preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering preferred.
• PE license required; SE license preferred.
• 6–10 years of project experience in a consulting engineering or AE firm.
• Experience with Revit Structure.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook and structural software such as Robot, RISA-3D, RAM, SAP 2000, and CONCEPT.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural engineering teams on large, complex projects.
• Oversee development of BIM models and structural calculations/reports.
• Perform analyses and assist in producing plans, specifications, and other documents.
• Coordinate with other building design disciplines and mentor junior engineers.
