Job summary

DCI Engineers in Los Angeles, CA is seeking a Senior Structural Project Engineer to design, analyze, and support construction on diverse building projects. You’ll collaborate with BIM designers and engineers to deliver reliable structural documents.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of structural‑engineering experience, PE license, ABET‑accredited degree (Master’s preferred), and proficiency with design software such as RISA 3D, ETABS, RAM, Enercalc.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of structural engineering experience related to building design.
• Experience with steel, concrete, and wood design materials.
• Knowledge of gravity framing and wind-resisting systems.
• Familiar with AISC, ACI 318, IBC, ASCE 7 codes.
• Experience with structural analysis software such as RISA 3D, RAM, ETABS, Enercalc.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Desire to provide excellent service and build client relationships.
• PE license required or pursuing licensure.
• ABET‑accredited degree in structural/civil/architectural engineering; Master’s preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural design of assigned tasks under supervision of Project Manager.
• Collaborate with BIM designers to produce structural construction documents in REVIT.
• Assist with construction support, including shop drawing review and RFIs.
• Ensure accuracy and detail in construction documents.
• Develop technical knowledge through project experience and education.
• Develop and maintain client relationships.
