Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Structural Project Engineer to join our award‑winning full‑service firm located in Livingston, NJ. This is a full‑time, in‑person position requiring candidates to live within driving distance of the office. Candidates must be valid to work in the USA and possess all necessary credentials.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction documents, including plans, details, and sections, for buildings and other structures.
• Prepare calculations for steel, wood, concrete, and masonry structural materials using current building codes.
• Coordinate directly with architectural and other engineering disciplines.
• Survey existing structural systems for analysis of renovation projects.
• Visit sites under construction to review progress and prepare field reports.

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor of Science in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer license.
• 5‑10 years of structural engineering experience in the U.S.
• Experience designing structural systems for commercial, industrial, educational, residential, and similar types of buildings.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ETABS, SAFE, RAM, SAP200, Enercalc, and Excel spreadsheets.

Location and Work Schedule

Livingston, NJ. Monday to Friday, in‑person.

Relocation
