Job summary

A leading engineering firm in Denver is seeking an experienced Structural Engineer to manage and conduct structural analysis for water and wastewater facilities. The ideal candidate will have 10-15 years of experience, strong design skills in concrete and steel structures, and proficiency in relevant software. Qualifications

• 10 - 15 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in Civil Wet Infrastructure and Water Storage.
• Strong design expertise in Steel, Masonry, & Reinforced-Concrete structures.
• Extensive experience with municipal projects.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and project management for water and wastewater facilities.
• Manage Structural Engineering responsibilities from planning to commissioning.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Structural Engineers.
• Prepare reports, plans, and specifications.
• Conduct site visits during construction and operation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis, design review, and project management activities for water and wastewater municipal facilities that include steel, masonry, and reinforced concrete materials
• Manage Structural Engineering responsibilities of Water/Wastewater projects across the region from planning, construction, and commissioning
• Mentor junior and mid-level Structural Engineers
• Prepare reports, develop plans, and specifications
• Prepare cost estimates for various Structural projects
• Makes site visits to observe during construction and operation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural Engineering
• Registration as a Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer in Denver
• 10 - 15 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in the Civil Wet Infrastructure and Water Storage space
• Strong design experience of Steel, Masonry, & Reinforced-Concrete structures and proficiency in using STAAD, RISA 3D, Excel, TEDDS, Microstation and AutoCAD
• Extensive experience with medium and large-scale municipal projects that include storage tanks, water treatment facilities, and other supporting structures for Water/Wastewater related facilities
• Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (+) or a PhD in Structural Engineering (+)
