Job summary

A recognized Civil Infrastructure Consulting firm is seeking a Structural Engineer in Tampa, Florida. Responsibilities include conducting analysis and project management for water and wastewater facilities. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Texas registration, and 5-10 years of experience in relevant projects. Qualifications

• 5 - 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer or Structural Engineer in Texas required.
• Strong design experience with Steel, Masonry, & Reinforced-Concrete structures.
• 5 - 10 years of experience as a Structural Engineer, preferably in Civil Wet Infrastructure and Water Storage space.
• Strong design experience of Steel, Masonry, & Reinforced-Concrete structures and proficiency in using STAAD, RISA 3D, Excel, TEDDS, Microstation and AutoCAD
• Extensive experience with medium and large-scale municipal projects that include storage tanks, water treatment facilities, and other supporting structures for Water/Wastewater related facilities
• Masters degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (+) or a PhD in Structural Engineering (+).

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis, design review, and project management activities.
• Manage Structural Engineering responsibilities of Water/Wastewater projects.
• Mentor junior and mid-level Structural Engineers.
• Prepare reports, develop plans, and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates for various Structural projects.
• Makes site visits to observe during construction and operation.
