Job summary

Tom Trese Networking LLC is seeking an experienced Structural Project Manager to oversee the structural engineering and construction coordination of multifamily residential projects. You will liaise between engineering, project management, field operations, and subcontractors to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a strong background in concrete and structural steel design, field inspections, and value engineering, supporting projects from preconstruction

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of structural engineering, project management, or construction management experience.
• PE license preferred (plan stamping not required).
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification or ability to obtain.
• Experience supporting multifamily or commercial construction projects preferred.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete and structural steel systems.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review structural concrete and steel drawings for compliance with codes and specs.
• Coordinate structural engineering activities with project management and field teams.
• Perform field inspections to verify quality and progress.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and document control.
• Attend OAC meetings and prepare minutes and action items.
• Support procurement, bid evaluations, and subcontractor coordination.
• Ensure safety, quality, and constructability through planning and reviews.
• Monitor schedules and coordinate material procurement and delivery.
