Job summary

Training period will start in Irvine, CA with a hybrid schedule after onboarding. The position requires building code expertise, coordination with architects and other engineers, and delivering quality construction

Qualifications

• Seven years of full-time work experience as an engineer in a structural consulting organization.
• BS in Civil Engineering (with an emphasis in Structures).
• Professional Engineer (PE) license.
• Transcripts showing completed courses in: Structural Analysis.
• Transcripts showing completed courses in: Mechanics of Materials.
• Transcripts showing completed courses in: Concrete.
• Transcripts showing completed courses in: Steel or Wood Design.

Responsibilities

• Design gravity, lateral, and foundation systems for new buildings and retrofit projects.
• Perform structural analysis and seismic design using ETABS, RISA, SAFE, and RAM Steel.
• Produce calculation packages, drawings, and details for permit and construction.
• Support Construction Administration activities including submittal review and RFI coordination.
• Collaborate with BIM to maintain drawing standards and ensure integrated project delivery.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and supervise engineers.
