Job summary

Boeing St. Louis is actively seeking Experienced or Senior Structural Design Engineers to develop, maintain and modify structural and interior payload system designs using 3‑D CAD tools, supporting programs in the Air Dominance division across multiple MO locations including Berkeley, Hazelwood, St. Louis, St. Charles.

These roles require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance. Position levels include Level 3 and Level 4 with responsibilities spanning design, analysis,

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials)
• Level 3: 5+ years related work experience or equivalent
• Level 4: 9+ years related work experience or equivalent
• Experience using NX / Teamcenter and familiarity with reading 2-D drawings
• Requires ability to obtain US Security Clearance; US Citizenship required

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and document structural and interior payload system requirements to establish the system design
• Develop, maintain and modify structural and interior payload system and component designs across product lifecycle
• Perform, integrate analytical and test results to validate systems meet requirements
• Lead supplier development, test and production activities to optimize design and program goals
• Develop new design/analysis processes and tools to improve development efficiency
• Investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs
