Job summary

Clark Pacific is seeking a Senior Structural Engineering Manager to lead a team delivering precast structural solutions for mission-critical facilities, including data centers. You will supervise design of prestressed floors, beams, walls, columns, slabs, and stairs, and act as Engineer of Record on select projects.

This role emphasizes strong leadership, accurate scheduling, and collaboration with project management and manufacturing to ensure safety, quality, and on-time performance.

Qualifications

• Licensed SE in CA or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• 7+ years progressive structural design experience; at least 4 years in leadership/management.
• Demonstrated lead design manager on multiple large-scale projects.
• Hands-on experience in lateral design of concrete structures.
• Proven track record delivering high-quality engineering solutions under aggressive timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural engineering team in designing full precast systems (floors, beams, walls, columns, slabs, stairs).
• Serve as Engineer of Record on projects requiring a licensed SE; ensure compliance with codes and client specifications.
• Direct and oversee structural calculations, drawings, and submittals for multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Provide technical leadership in lateral design of concrete elements for safe, efficient solutions.
• Balance workloads across the team and manage high-stress project timelines.
• Collaborate with project management and represent Clark Pacific in a design capacity when required.
• Mentor engineers and promote professional growth within the team.
• Champion continuous improvement via industry organizations such as PCI.
