Clark Pacific in West Sacramento, California is seeking a Senior Structural Engineering Manager to lead a team designing precast structural systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities. The role emphasizes timely delivery, technical leadership, and collaboration with project management and manufacturing.

Ideal candidate will be licensed SE in CA, with 7+ years' progressive design experience and a track record of managing large-scale projects.

Qualifications

• Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in California or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive structural engineering design experience, preferably with at least 4 years in a leadership or management role.
• Demonstrated experience as lead design manager on multiple large-scale structural projects.
• Hands-on experience in lateral design of concrete structures.
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality engineering solutions under aggressive project timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the structural engineering team in the design of full precast structural systems (floors, beams, walls, columns, slabs, stairs).
• Serve as Engineer of Record on projects requiring a licensed SE.
• Direct and oversee preparation of structural calculations, drawings, and submittals for concurrent projects.
• Provide technical leadership in lateral design of concrete elements.
• Balance workloads and manage high-pressure project timelines with effective resource management.
• Collaborate with project management and manufacturing; represent Clark Pacific as needed.
• Mentor engineers and promote professional growth within the team.
• Engage with PCI and industry organizations to advance precast concrete design and innovation.
