AECOM is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to be based in Denver, Colorado or Salt Lake City, Utah. The role supports mining projects and aims to lead a team of structural engineers across multiple projects, ensuring schedules and budgets are met.
The ideal candidate holds a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, eight years of experience, SE registration, and may hold a PE license in CO/NM/UT/AZ. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, STAAD and RAM Elements is expected.

AECOM is seeking a highly motivated Senior Structural Engineer to be based in Denver, Colorado or Salt Lake City, Utah office, to support mining projects and to help lead and build a team of structural engineers to support mining projects.
The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and have at least eight years of experience in the Structural Engineering field. Technical experience in structural design codes is also necessary. The candidate should be capable of working on multiple projects simultaneously and meeting project schedules. Basic knowledge of industry‑standard computer software such as AutoCAD, STAAD, RAM Elements, Revit, etc., is expected. Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and prior experience in mining industry structural design would be advantageous.
To support this commitment, all newly hired employees are required to attend an in‑person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment.
Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $130000 to $190000.
