Arcadis is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join our Climate Adaptation and Water Management Team in Virginia Beach, VA. This role involves delivering engineering services for projects related to flood risk reduction and infrastructure resilience.

The ideal candidate will have 8 years of experience, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, and a Professional Engineer (PE) registration. Proficiency with structural analysis software like STAAD and AutoCAD is preferred.

Qualifications

• 8 years of relevant experience in structural engineering.
• Experience in designing infrastructure projects related to water management.
• Proficient in required structural design software.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis, design, and engineering for climate adaptation projects.
• Research feasibility of alternative design approaches.
• Mentor entry-level and junior structural engineering staff.
