Florida Turbine Technologies (FTT) in Jupiter, Florida, seeks a Structural Engineer to lead the design and analysis of turbomachinery hardware. You will perform stress, vibration, and life analyses using finite element methods and hand calculations, working with a multi-disciplinary team to iterate designs that meet stringent requirements.

Formación

• BS/MS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in structural analysis, turbomachinery preferred.
• Strong understanding of structural analysis methods, stress, vibration, fatigue/fracture mechanics.

Responsabilidades

• Use hand calculations and finite element analyses to evaluate structural components and assemblies.
• Ensure analysis follows accepted methods and is properly documented for internal or customer requirements.
• Support field or production issues, root cause investigations and disposition of nonconformances.
• Organize technical round-table discussions with team members and leadership.
• Communicate project status to team leads, program managers, and customers.
• Exercise engineering judgment within procedures to determine actions.
• Other duties as assigned.
