Job summary

A leading engineering firm in New York seeks a Sr. Structural Engineer for their Infrastructure/Civil Sector to manage transportation and design projects. You will interpret and coordinate project execution while ensuring quality across disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience, particularly in rail projects. This role offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $195,000 with a robust benefits package, including unlimited PTO.

Qualifications

• Minimum of ten years’ relevant discipline experience.
• Experience with rail transportation projects preferred (not including bridges and tunnels).

Responsibilities

• Interpret, organize, and coordinate transportation projects.
• Plan and design structures using appropriate design software.
• Ensure quality and coordination across multi-disciplinary projects.
• Develop client relationships in public transportation sectors.
• Mentor and manage structural staff.
• Prepare proposals and participate in client presentations.
