Job summary
A leading engineering firm in New York seeks a Sr. Structural Engineer for their Infrastructure/Civil Sector to manage transportation and design projects. You will interpret and coordinate project execution while ensuring quality across disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a minimum of ten years of relevant experience, particularly in rail projects. This role offers a competitive salary range of $175,000 to $195,000 with a robust benefits package, including unlimited PTO.
Qualifications
Minimum of ten years’ relevant discipline experience.
Experience with rail transportation projects preferred (not including bridges and tunnels).
Responsibilities
Interpret, organize, and coordinate transportation projects.
Plan and design structures using appropriate design software.
Ensure quality and coordination across multi-disciplinary projects.
Develop client relationships in public transportation sectors.
Mentor and manage structural staff.
Prepare proposals and participate in client presentations.
