Job summary

PDS Defense, Inc. is seeking a Structural Engineer 3 to support the Stress Engineering department on the E-2D program, stationed on-site in Melbourne, FL. The role requires senior-level aerospace structural analysis experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Responsibilities include performing static, dynamic, and DaDT analyses of airframes and systems, deriving loads with engineering tools, and collaborating to deliver solutions in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years of aerospace structural analysis experience.
• Master's degree in STEM with 10 years of aerospace structural analysis experience.
• Ph.D. in STEM with 7 years of aerospace structural analysis experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain final adjudicated government Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT structural analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures and systems.
• Derive non-flight loads and distribute internal loads using tools like FEMAP, NX, Teamcenter.
• Collaborate in a team environment and manage multiple priorities to achieve project results.
