Job summary

TASC Technical Services is seeking an Engineer Structural 3 for an on-site role in Melbourne, FL. The position supports an aerospace/defense client on the E-2D program and requires United States citizenship with a DoD Secret clearance. 12-month contract, onsite only, with a standard 8am-4pm shift.

The role emphasizes static/dynamic analyses of airframes using FEMAP, NX, and Teamcenter, with collaboration across a multidisciplinary stress engineering team.

Qualifications

• Background in aerospace structural analysis required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Secret clearance.
• Experience in static, dynamic analyses of airframe structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform static, dynamic, and DaDT analyses of metallic and composite airframe structures and components.
• Derive non-flight loads and distribute internal loads using approved tools.
• Collaborate in a team to prioritize tasks and develop solutions to complex problems.

Education

Bachelor's degree in STEM with 12+ years aerospace structural analysis experience

Master's degree in STEM with 10+ years aerospace structural analysis experience

Ph.D. in STEM with 7+ years aerospace structural analysis experience
