Job summary

Technip Energies in Houston, TX is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead the technical development of structural deliverables for steel structures and foundations across large process facilities. You will design pipe racks, process structures, and equipment supports, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams and vendors.

The role requires 5–12 years of design and construction experience, PE registration in TX/LA or to obtain within 4 months, and strong English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• 5–12 years of experience in design and execution of projects.
• Construction-site experience required.
• Professional Engineering registration in Texas and/or Louisiana preferred or obtainable within 4 months.
• Fluency in professional English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain structural engineering calculations, technical specifications, requisitions, stress reports, and other deliverables for steel structures and foundations.
• Coordinate design activities for pipe racks, process structures, and building framing foundations.
• Ensure timely and quality preparation of engineering deliverables in line with project requirements.
• Ensure compliance with contractual specifications and project requirements by external parties and vendors.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and assist in solving field-related structural issues.
